Job Description :

Manage content plan of well curated, highly engaging and shareable copy, video, and other content that helps meet Ketto’s mission, vision, and marketing objectives, including driving attendance and engagement, cross and up-selling, building interest and raising awareness of Ketto.

A successful Content & Communications Manager will strive for collaboration and communication interdepartmentally and throughout the organization regarding new content initiatives, and will have a strong customer service mentality inside the organization as well as to outside vendors, media, and partners. The individual will be an excellent writer and a natural story-teller with a passion for Social Causes. Both creative and pragmatic, the Manager will have a strong ability to continually brainstorm new angles and ideas for content and publicity.

Duties Include:

Content / Editorial

  • Develop and maintain shareable “editorial calendar” of engaging content throughout the year
  • Identify regular new content opportunities in addition to repurposing existing content
  • Pay attention to and leverage news, events, and trends in the community by always asking the question “How can I connect this to the Social Cause or Ketto?”
  • Develop and maintain editorial style guide with clear guidelines for tone and brand standards
  • Research, write, edit, and proofread marketing and fundraising copy, including website copy, blog posts, promotional copy (ie: emails, brochures), letters, and video scripts.
  • Develop all content for new launches at the end of 2018; research web content trends and best practices
  • Work with the Campaign Manager, Marketing team to capture campaign details and create visual content
  • Collaborate with marketing manager and marketing associate to develop engaging content for social media and digital initiatives
  • Work with marketing team to conduct regular reviews of content effectiveness in order to continually evolve and improve content initiatives
  • Keep current with content marketing best practices.

Publicity (in partnership with outside publicity agency):

  • Research press outlets and help pitch stories to media
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key media outlets
  • Track and report on media coverage
  • Create press releases, press kits, and other media materials
  • Maintain and manage press lists
  • Coordinate media coverage during the festival
  • Collaborate and coordinate with PR and marketing teams at orchestra partners to maximize media coverage and content
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree; Marketing, Public Relations, or other communications field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of marketing, PR, or writing experience, preferably in content or publicist role
  • Excellent writer
  • An experienced storyteller with excellent communication skills
  • Skilled at developing both short and long-form content
  • Strong research skills
  • Knowledge of Social space would be an added advantage.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects at once, and respond to changing and new projects and priorities with grace and confidence
  • Positive attitude, poise, and flexibility in a dynamic work environment
  • Previous experience with content production a big plus
  • Ability to think like a journalist

Sr. Brand Manager will be responsible for building overall Brand of Ketto and will be responsible for leading Ketto’s Brand Strategy that achieves company’s short and long term business objectives.

You would be Responsible for :

We are looking at young and Dynamic Self Starter individuals who will be a part of our Business Development Team.

Purpose of the Role:

The person will be responsible for on-boarding and managing of campaigns along with managing new and existing partnerships.

Roles & Responsibility

  • Play an active role to support Business Development Function to ensure the growth of the Start up.
  • On board new NGO's/Corporates/Social Enterprises and help them to create campaigns and identify attractive programs for Fund Raising.
  • Set-up partnership for Online and Offline Events.
  • Identify and get in touch with the potential partners and campaigners.
  • Cold Calling to the potential prospect and thereby generate leads for the same.
  • Identify and give presentation to the existing and new customers.
  • Conduct research, surveys , on-site visit and do competitive analysis.
  • Participate in efforts to increase the number of campaign creators.
  • Organize and attend meetings with NGO's /Non-Profits/Corporates/Social Enterprise to provide guidance to make campaign successful.
  • Handle external and internal communications and facilitate legal and licensing agreements with partners as needed.
  • Relationship building with the NGO's on board and new NGO's.
  • Retention of the NGO's.
  • Client Servicing.

The candidate will act as an Account Manager/Campaign Manager to the respective NGO's assigned to them. The candidate will guide the NGO throughout their Fundariasing Campaign starting from building campaign for them till the amount received to the NGO's after completion of the Campaign.

An ideal candidate should have

  • Min 1-2 years of work experience in Sales preferably social Sector into Fundraising.
  • Candidate should be self driven and have the ability to deliver numbers.
  • Have the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
  • Have good presentation skills and be able to convince potential clients.
  • Graduate of any discipline. Preferable MBA or MA in Social Entrepreneurship/Social Work.
  • Prior working in Social Sector as Fundraising Manager will be preferable.
  • Strong written and oral skills.
  • Ability to research on campaigns and work under tight deadlines.
  • Understanding and experience in campaigning through internet mobilization, emails, engagement driven activities etc.

Responsibilities

  • Visit and meet individuals/ NGO’s who is in need of funds to carry out their activities.
  • You have to document stories, get pictures and testimonials in order to write powerful stories of human interest.
  • Travelling across the city is a necessity for interactions with campaign organizers and profiling them (stories and photographs).
  • Create inspiring stories, which potential donors across the world can relate to, and be willing to help the campaign.
  • Help Ketto Campaign Managers in the process of campaign set up; i.e. writing the story, putting up photographs etc.
  • Take ownership of the content for all campaigns assigned to you in your locality/ city. This includes reviewing the progress of such campaigns through regular updates for donors. Required Skills: Impeccable written skills in English, and speaking proficiency in regional language where they will be placed.
  • Good interpersonal skills - empathy to understand people, ability to connect with strangers, and carry- out conversations in difficult situations - are essential.
  • Photography skills, including a basic idea of human interest photography, are important.
  • Minimum 3 to 6 months commitment.
  • A graduate or a postgraduate degree. Strong preference for fresh graduates (0- 2 year) from Journalism/ Mass media/ Communications background Proficiency with MS Office Suite and web tools (Gmail, Skype, WordPress, etc.).

Ketto announces its Fellowship Program 2018 called "India Social Change Interns" for undergraduates and graduates who always wants to do 'Something' - Something for the Society, something for the Nation and be an active Change Maker. We are offering 3 months and 6 months position for our 1st batch starting in Feb 2018. Fellows would be paid monthly stipend.

Ketto fellowship is for those who seek and thrive in the challenging situations and who do not chase the swanky corner office. It is for leaders who fuel the growth of the leading NGO`s and bring them up to digital speed.

Ketto's Fellowship program is the brainchild of Ketto Foundation. It gives graduates and undergraduates 3 months/6 months of live experience where they can contribute to an important cause while documenting inspiring stories of change. We believe that as a Nation it is important to develop and support existing NGOs and social enterprises in the work they do in order to bring change in the Social and Public systems.

About the Fellowship Program

Ketto Fellowship Program is a program designed for a period of 3-6 months starting February, 2018. The fellowship is designed to provide youth with first-hand experience in understanding the functioning of an NGO and their fundraising process. The fellow needs to understand the importance of crowdfunding in a fundraising strategy and devise creative ways to raise funds.

The fellow will support the NGO they are placed in to become more digitally savvy by making efficient use of social media and other digital platforms while working out of their offices and share these inspiring stories of the causes the NGO supports. They will also be visiting Hospitals where they will help the ones who are looking for financing theirs or their loved ones treatments.

As a Fellow, you will be visiting different NGOs, hospitals of Mumbai in-order to witness the ground reality closely. Your day-to-day activities include:

  • Visiting NGOs & hospitals across Mumbai in order to meet those who have used our platform for Crowdfunding.
  • Writing compelling stories of Campaigner`s profiles which will help our Supporters to read and contribute to the Campaign.
  • Interacting with the NGOs - spending time with them and understanding their fundraising system and integrating crowdfunding as a part of it.
